I needed a birthday card for a boy and started by looking for some images for All Star shoes on the internet.
I fussy cut them out and placed them on a red paper strip on the inside of my card as a hint for the front.
So I paper pierced the holes for my needle work with the Tim Holtz ruler, made the holes for my shoelaces, weaved white ribbon through the holes, and put two white eyelets beneath the logo with the boys name.

This goes right into my favorites. I didn't even need the reference photo to know exactly what the inspiration was. You did a fantastic job creating the look and feel of the shoes.
