Card Details:
Card Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut to 4.25 in x 11 in and scored / folded at 5.5 in.
2nd Layer: Shimmery White Cardstock cut to 4 x 5.25 in. Adhered to base with StampinÂ’ Dimensionals
Prior to adhering 2nd layer: Add the Sky with an Aqua Painter and Soft Sky Classic Ink. Stamp the “She Believed She Could…” sentiment on the Shimmery White Cardstock (after the watercolor dries completely) with Basic Black Archival Ink. I stamped it almost exactly in the middle of the card (close, I never measure). Tip: I cover the pig with retired Washi Tape to ensure ink is added to only the sentiment. DonÂ’t forget to remove the Washi Tape before stamping on your cardstock. Wrap the Smoky Slate 1/2″ Gingham Ribbon around the Shimmery White and secure with a knot. Add some BakerÂ’s Twine for added color (I didnÂ’t realize the color I used is retiredÂ…whoops).
Images: The Pig was stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock using Basic Black Archival Ink. The Clouds were also stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock, this time I used the Basic Gray Archical Ink, stamping on scrap paper first to lighten it. I used an Aqua Painter and these Classic Inks to add the color: Pig: Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate. Clouds: Smoky Slate
I adhered the images with StampinÂ’ Dimensionals, Mini StampinÂ’ Dimensionals and Snail Adhesive.
