I used the tutorial to make the guitar. My grandson Henry loves music. For his 6th birthday I made him the quilt with instruments from the orchestra on one side and rock and roll on the other. I thought the guitar card would go well with it. Henry loved both the card and the quilt. He strummed the guitar right away! Thanks for looking!

Wow Eileen! What an amazing gift set this is! The guitar card is fabulous- I really love how you used the baker's twine on this for the strings. Fun! And that quilt- oh my! The way you made the one side more formal and the other side rock and roll is really fun too! I know your grandson was thrilled with these items and the memories you are making with him are priceless. I have the absolute best memories of being with my dear grandmother and your grandson will too! Hugs! ~Karen

What a treasure for your grandson....the card and the quilt. He will think of you every time he sees this quilt. Love the guitar card.

Eileen, a terrific and keepsake gift for your grandson. The quilt is so intune with his interest....no matter the music that appeals to him....and it might change over the years, but your quilt will still be apropos. Clever card to go with it.
