These are my samples for Cathy's WTUI challenge this week - you'll find it HERE.
Her challenge gave me the motivation to get back to these cards which I had cut out (and stamped the tags) back in March - inspired by Mrs. Noofy's CASE of a card by Brenda Quintana. I hadn't been totally happy with the first one I made, so the other three just sat there till this challenge came along.
Sorry I can't remember all the details, I was rushing to get these made before we left on holidays. If you have a specific question, I'll pull them out of my Christmas box and check....
The pockets are made from black card with an oval punched in them.
The inside tages are sponged with distress inks in various blues, and have the manger and sentiment heat-embossed.
The blue panels on the pocket fronts are all different - they have an oval punched to match the one in the black pocket. I outlined that with a gold pen. One is Brushos, one is distress inks and I can't remember what the third one is. One of them is embossed with an ef called Constellation. The starburst is embossed in gold, and I added die-cut gold stars to each one. The insert tags have gold cord/ribbon.
I also slightly altered my first one (made in March) and am happier with it now.

Sabrina, these are just spectacular. The beautiful different blue backgrounds and stars with the first half if your sentiment peeking through the fronts, and completed on the pulled up portion - just a wonderful design. I love the sweet manger as well as the one with that gorgeous starry swoosh!
