Todays challenge is to take inspiration from the Washi Arts Blog. I chose this pretty paper for my inspiration. I pressed several distress colors onto my mat, spritzed lightly with water and "painted" stripes using crumpled pieces of plastic wrap. It doesn't get the card stock very wet, so I set it on the window sill, to sun dry, while I stamped the sentiment, stamped and die cut the blossom. Once dry, I changed the orientation, die cut the bottom edge and assembled all the pieces onto a dark berry base.
The die cut white mat is a gift from Brenda (tessaduck). Used MFT/Stitched scalloped edge to cut the "painted" piece. Luv that the two scalloped edges match so perfectly.

Oh my, Priscilla! Your awesome background is almost identical to your inspiration piece! That's fantastic work! I love the beautiful floral image and the scalloped panels! Great work, Priscilla!
