For todays MIX challenge to use a stencil in a way new to us. I've used embossing paste and sponged colors over stencils, but never even thought of using brushos. The Brushos didn't leave a very definitive image, but I do like it. I die cut a piece of white (using MFT Scalloped Edge) and ran a turquoise pen along the edge so define it better. Cut wildflowers from a failed background and stamped the sentiment. Punched some dots, covered them with glossy accents and placed a few dots on the flowers using a pearl pen.

I think your brushos turned out really nice...you can still see the pattern of the stencil but it's kind of a watery type design...very cool. And it looks great with the die cuts. Thanks for playing along today and getting out of your stencil rut!

Beautiful design & colors! I've never used brushos or any powdered inks; love it with the stencil and am inspired. The die cut wild flowers are very pretty too.
