This is for VSBN Summer Sketches challenge #1 using a single photo. It's the simple things in childhood we hold on to with a smile. I wanted to keep the colors quiet because of the 'not so great quality' of this photo so it wouldn't be overwhelmed. I tweaked the panels of the sketch a bit because of my vertical photo. The words are printed from my computer.

Beautiful as always Joyce Ann. I like your tip about keeping the colours quiet...I will remember that.
TFS Happy day

This is just too stinkin' cute, Joyce Ann! Love the title you came up with for it. I would have never thought of it, and I have scrapped photos like this before, of course , not as cute as this one!

Make that 3 of us loving your page! You did a great job making the sketch work and I too will have to remember about "keeping it quiet" to help the photo, what a great idea. What a fun photo to scrap!

So, so cute! My husband says all he's giving my son this year is a box and maybe--if he's lucky--a piece of string. Don't need all the fancy toys, do they? ;) Super cute page, and good on you for scrapping a fun memory even if the photo isn't perfectly lit.
