This was commissioned for a graduation card for a friend's son. The young man is apparently into gaming, and so his mom asked me to incorporate that into the card. I have an old Echo Park stamp set that includes a game controller image & the greeting "Game Over." I have never figured out why anyone would want that as a greeting, but really wanted to use the set. I came up with the idea to add to the greeting a bit. So I stamped the "Game Over" in Versafine onto the bottom of a white cardstock panel, and scanned that into my computer. After opening the scanned image in Photoshop, I chose a "computer-ish" font, and typed the words "definitely not" on the image, above the greeting. I rotated that text slightly, and then printed it out directly on the panel. I added an insertion caret with a black pen, so now the greeting reads "Game definitely not over"! I cut a piece of red star paper and adhered it to my white panel. I stamped the game controller onto a white circle that I'd die cut, and colored the buttons with my Inktense pencils, using a damp paintbrush to "set" the colors, so they are permanent. I die cut 2 stars from silver glitter paper, and glued them & my image to the card front. Finally, I adhered the card front to a white A2 card base. I heard the recipient really liked the card!
