I have a few scraps of mirror black glossy paper and tried the cling wrap technique with Lumiere fabric paint. Shiny, spooky results with a turquoise blob that bubbled. It ended up being in the spider's body. I mounted this card only in the middle, so that all the jagged edges stand out.

Wow!! Fab. I had glossy black card in my Amazon basket but it was going to cost more in shipping, so I gave up and just used regular black card. But because I know what a great finish gloss card adds (and how hard that is to capture in a photo) I can imagine how much more amazing this must look in real life. The jagged edges are perfect. This makes me think of Mirkwood.
