The Free for All challenge this week is to revisit an old technique, the Criss Cross card, which pairs nicely with this week's inspiration challenge to be inspired by the ScorPal Pinterest Board to make a fun fold card.
I was inspired by the lovely, bright colors in Lois' (clownmom) baby card, https://www.pinterest.com/pin/97742254394875976/.
I chose Groovy Guava as the base for the criss cross fold card, with some pretty patterned paper from K&Co and found Rose Red to be a good match as well. The inside panel was stamped in the same ink colors. I added some Stickles dots, sequins and a heart paper clip. Very vanilla was layered on Rose Red. The belly band was made from the same patterned paper because I didn't have any 12" cs to match the Rose Red. I punched a heart from very vanilla and stamped with Love from Field Flowers in the closest color I could find to Rose Red, then I overstamped using the flower outline in Abandoned Coral. Stamped the banner sentiment in "Rose Red", added some paper flowers in ivory and pale yellow and added rhinestones to the centers.
