As you can see, I'm playing catch up for April! Some of these cards were made and just not uploaded, and some I have made in a burst of creativity today, trying to finish some of the challenges I had wanted to try for April.
This is my second card for the IC591 Fluevog challenge. The first one was a bit of a cheat since I used the toy robot that was on the site for some reason; I decided to do another with an actual shoe when I saw this shoe: http://tinyurl.com/mjvvlu5
The colors and teardrop cutout reminded me that I have this paper that I've been hoarding the last of forever, and I decided today was the day to use it! I loved the colors of this paper and that it has a bit of a sheen to it, which you can see best on the punched flowers. I fussy cut a section of it and put it on a white card with tape runner, then stamped the sentiment in hot pink ink. For a finishing touch, I punched several flowers out of leftover scraps, added a rhinestone center to each, folded the petals for dimension, and attached them to the front of the card.
Thanks for a challenging Inspiration Challenge and thanks for looking at my card!
