This was a cool technique. Flower pounding. It is exactly what it sounds like. You find a flower and use a hammer to pound it into the paper and when day (or sooner) you wipe off the floral residue. I used two florets from a hyacinth bloom. I love how it turned out. The dp is a really old one that I found in my stash of thousands of papers. Two narrow strips of white paper added a bit of interest (I think)

Oh Ina, this turned out beautifully! Your flower pounding is so soft and delicate (hmm, pounding, soft, and delicate all in the same sentence!) and that dp is perfect to support your lovely focal image. I agree, the two strips of white paper did add interest. Beautiful!

I have used my big shot to press the flowers the times I have done this technique, but I think I'll try a hammer next time. Your Hyacinth blossoms turned out really well! The paper you used with them is a lovely addition!
