DD7ABC10Q - the alphabet challenge is on the letter Q this week. The double challenge was "Quiet, I hear a wabbit" which I didn't do. My Q is the letter in the alphabet. Sorry, I even took the photo without flash but it still glares.
My youngest DD gave me this stamp and this is the first time it has seen ink. My word, it was difficult to get this image stamped clearly. This image is the fourth try, I think.
After stamping it in black, I colored in the I, heart, and U. Then stamped with versamark but ended up touching up the entire image with the versamark pen, then heat embossing.
I got a good size pack of several sizes of doilies - silver and gold - on clearance and thought this would be a good card to bring them out.
My DD who gave me the stamp (she's 13) LOVES this card. I'm so glad she does!
Thanks for looking!

I can see why it would be hard to stamp, looks like a large background stamp and they are hard to stamp! You did a magnificent job with the letters! Love the shine!

Creative! Fun stamp that your DD gave you. Clever idea to use the stamp this way and only color the I {heart} U. Glad your DD loves the card. I love it, too. TFS

I love the creative way you used this wonderful stamp Catherine. Your persistence paid off big time because you have a wonderful card to be really proud of, and even better that your daughter loves it. I love how you colored specific parts in red, and I always love your ribbon treatments. The touches of silver doily really make this alphabet scene pop. What a wonderful card this is for the letter Q alphabet challenge. Hugs! ~Karen.
