I needed to do another card for today's challenge, because I need a lot of cards for fundraising for Christine's recovery. Also, I simply couldn't resist my favorite ever flower stamp. I just love these giant blooms! I started off with a blank sheet with just the sentiment printed out and I stamped the flowers into each corner.
I was finishing up the coloring on the flowers when my mom came in to watch my kids so I could leave for work. I asked for her opinion of whether I should color in the background or leave it white. Her response any time I ask for her opinion is "I don't know why you ask for my opinion. Your just going to do what you want anyway." I told her, no, I really needed her opinion, because I was indifferent between the two choices. She told me to leave it white...
I don't know how she puts up with me.

I had to laugh at your description, Jen! I must say that "white" bg is certainly and interesting shade of yellow . . . .lol . . but I like it - it adds a glow & certain cheeriness that would be missing with plain white. Beautiful shading on your flowers.
