This is my simple card for CAS422 - Winged Things. I used a napkin, wrinkled it up to a ball, opened it and glued it onto the cardstock. I never can resist a pretty napkin and this one was super. I glued the wrinkled and then flattened napkin onto the cardstock, wrapping the edges around the cardstock which had been trimmed 1/8" all around. Then I glued the "napkin" piece onto a blue piece of cardstock for a border. Thanks for looking.

I have used this technique before but not for awhile. You have renewed my interest in trying it again. It looks just like antique cloth. Very nice.

I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.

Wow this is really stunning! Have been looking at and pinning the heck out of art quilts lately (I barely sew--looking at them for art inspo) and your card looks so much like the quilts I was just looking at that I thought you had stitched it til I read the description. Talk about bang for your buck--a quick card that looks like it took hours! Well done!
