I created this as a sympathy card. No real need at the moment; just to have on hand. I wanted to get a little out of my typical style and go for a more shabby chic/collage look. I stamped the lily a few times on the circle with Butter Bar ink, and used Wet Cement ink & 2nd generation stamping to stamp the "Romantic Script" on that same piece, in kind of a "spotty" way. I inked it and the greeting oval with Antique Linen, & inked around the edges with Frayed Burlap. I stamped the "Lattice Grid" in Soft Leaf, and inked over the whole panel with Iced Spruce for a tone-on-tone look. I used Charcoal ink to stamp the greeting & butterfly, for a bit of a softer look. I used the butterfly for the small embellishment in the sketch. I really like how this came out. I might have to try this style more often!
