For today's CAS challenge- Things with Strings
I found a string technique called Spirelli and thought I'd give it a whirl. It reminds me of one of my favorite art sets as a child - The Spirograph.
Using 3 hologram cutouts I purchased as part of a set, and 3 pastel colors of bakers twine; I taped the twine to the back of disk, and wrapped around it twice to get the finished pattern and secured again with more scotch tape.
I chose a small floral patterned DP which also has gold foil in it and adhered to a 5 1/2" card base.
The sentiment is diecut out of bright fushia CS 3x and glued together.
Each disk was attached to DP with foam dots as is the sentiment.
It's definitely bright and shiny and is the perfect birthday card for my DIL.

Spirelli is such a great idea for the challenge today.
