This is my first MIX challenge so I'm a little new at this sort of technique. Today's challenge is Text Transfer. I did have Mod Podge stuck all over my fingers and bits of book page stuck to that, but some of the text stayed on the card. The text is from a very dilapidated Ivanhoe written in 1840 and all the pages are torn and thin so it adhered instantly to the glue and I had some difficulty peeling it back off. Rose corner die cuts, butterfly, and a tiny glitter-sprinkled dancer finish off my card. Thanks for looking at my first attempt!

Sticky fingers....a badge of honor in my book ;) This turned out beautifully Kandie..I love that you used a really old book (a classic)....it adds to the charm of your card. The tiny dancer in her sparkly tutu is darling! Great job on this technique. Thanks for playing along today and welcome to the world of mixed media!!

I like that your text stays legible. With the normal transfer medium I use, I can rub most of the paper off and keep the text showing the right way, but I couldn't figure out how to do that from Polly's instructions. That thorny frame and the flowers go so well with the little ballerina - makes me think of some of the illustrations in my Hans Christian Andersen book.
