I made this card for the letter X Alphabet Challenge and for the double challenge to make it a Christmas card. The x is in the snowflake. I cut this card using the A Quilted Christmas cricut cartridge. Then I backed the design with wide double sided score tape, then poured MS fine silver glitter into the design and rubbed it well into the double-sided adhesive. I cut out another card in white so the inside is perfectly cut to match the outside and looks nice and clean and covers up the double-sided adhesive on the inside of the card. I wrapped the white ribbon around the card and was not impressed at all. Yuck! Then I found this red ribbon and just tied a bow and stuck that on top of the white bow and I was a lot happier. I really wanted to use these little red jingle bells I have had in my stash for years so I tied 3 of them together with fine silver thread and attached them to the bow. The card still needed something because the design part did not show up much at all so I pulled out my glitter tape and adhered this silver glitter tape to the inside of the card, and that did the trick. Done! Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Beautiful. Love the sparkle. I see the X in the snowflake - clever! The strip of glitter tape on the inside adds a nice finishing touch. Well done with your Christmas card and X-cellent with Letter X. TFS

Love your little jingle bell treatment on those ribbons. I love the sheer ribbons on this too, Karen. A great sparkly Christmas card. That is a pretty blue and the red ribbon is perfect!
