I embossed this super fun Hero Arts background stamp with Hero Arts white embossing powder on some miscellaneous watercolor paper – really – it was just in my stash from a kit I received a few months ago. I then sponged on 3 distress inks – Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, and Dusty Concord. I used the Distress Sprayer to add some water, let it sit for a bit then mopped up any excess with a dry paper towel.
I already had this THANKS die cut sponged and dipped with gold and I was bound and determined to put it to use! I embossed the additional sentiment on vellum from the Hero Arts Thanks stamp and cut set.
I recently purchased some Tim Holtz dies (the polka gold polka dots); I cut one from cardstock and used it as a stencil to apply gold paint and texture paste mixed together. The corner piece is another one of the dies cut from vellum.
I finished it off with some black and white striped paper from my stash, gold glitter paper, a cute little pre-cut doily already colored in purple and layered it all up and mounted with fun foam.

Love the way you did the gold on the letters. Totally amazing card! Hugz
