I saw a similar card created by 1stampingnightowl and I really loved the look. Thank you, 1 stampinghightowl. I embossed the woodland trees, sponged them lightly then cut them out. It wasn't as hard as it appears because many of the trees don't connect to other trees. And you can pick and choose which trees to use, because the space is not very large. I loved that you can't see the face of the elk--my DH didn't like that. Oh, well, too bad. I didn't make the card for him. I also wanted to cover that cliff that the elk is on, because it looks unfinished to me. Use lots and lots of dimensionals; so it appears to be 3D.
Thanks for looking. Susie

Lovely card! Reminds me of Canadian countryside (we have a lot of moose ) What a great idea to cut out the negative space from the emboss! Thanks for sharing!

SUPER GREAT presentation. Love your dimensional 3-D effect with your stag in the background almost like a diorama effect with the birch forest in the foreground and part of the "frame."
