Thanks for the challenge today Sabrina. I'm in a new role in a new setting trying to establish a new habit of Bible Journaling while I am staying at my DD's house with their unofficial foster son, my new 16 year old grandson. I borrowed Sabrina's idea of borrowing Faith's dotted framing by using an Elegant Writer pen and a white Sharpie paint pen. Had to go over the dots a couple extra times for a whiter appearance. For my something old, I used one of the first Zentangle patterns I ever learned for bricks modifying the shape for irregular stones in my altar. I colored with a grey Chameleon pen. My lettering is in Micron Pens. For the blue I scribbled onto an empty plastic box with Faded Jeans Distress Marker and also a blue Elegant Writer pen and spritzed some water in then washed the bg and added some spatter. I barely touched the black border in places to get a little bleed from the Elegant Writer ink. I took my glitter pen to accent the Lord.

I would love to do some Bible journaling....just need a lot of time. I just got new Elegant Writers and am anxious to try to do something with them. I like how you did the silver for Lord.

I'm sure you'll get that journalling habit established! Love all the "new" things you have attributed to this, and which I am sure you will remember when you look back through the Bible. The image of building the altar seems very apt. Thanks for joining in today, Gail.
