Thanks Mary for this weeks color challenge. My colors are marina mist, watermelon wonder, pear pizazz markers. I inked on a new stamp just received, then spritzed before stamping on water color paper. I had a little too much water, so I used a paper towel to absorb, which actually pressed the coloring of the bird & French script into the watercolor paper; giving it a dreamy look.
I Watercolored the branch & leaves to enhance the color slightly but didn't fuss with it too much. I then waterdowned some of the blue & green and smacked the brush against another brush to give it an aged look.
Come to find out, I stamped the image on the back side of the watercolor paper, which has a slightly smoother texture. I laughed hysterically and decided to just go with it. Lol!
The frame is textured paper which gives it more of a denim look and attached with foam dots.
Glued a couple flowers for a bit more dimension.
The envelope is stamped one off of bird/branch only.
Thanks for looking.
