My offering for the December Central Theme - CT1216 - Over the River...
For years our little family drove a little blue bug. We purchased the car in northern Scotland, drove it all over Europe, shipped it back to the states and drove it northern Maine, and shipped it again to Adak, Alaska! In fact, I learned to drive that little car side ways *hehe* in third gear in ice and snow! Peddle to the metal and up and over the mountain - hoping I didn't put it over the side. Agents at the farm couldn't have driven their cars any better (she laughs).
Isn't this the sweetest image from Stamping Bella? Although Christmas is past now, for our neighbors who live in areas of snow and ice - be careful driving this winter, I have a feeling it's going to be a cold one.
To all my friends and design sisters here at Splitcoast, I wish you all the very best in the coming year.
Blessings and love,
Susie ~

You stole my heart with that old VW on this, Susie! Love the realistic snow you added to this! Love all the fun papers and layers you chose for this! Still smiling about that bug! This is the only car we ever owned at one time that panty hose can replace a fan belt and $5.00 will get you an entire tune up!

I am so happy that we Favourites of the Week, otherwise I would have missed this gem and the extra treat of seeing your smiling face Nana B. I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Big squishy hugs my friend. xxx

This is precious!!!! I love it. Such bright and fun papers, and that image is wonderful. I always wanted a "Bug" and have a few fun stories from others' bugs. Your story is super fun - TFS. Hope you have a wonderful 2017 as well. Thanks for playing with us in the Fan Club theme too. Hugz

WOW! That car is absolutely STUNNING!! You've done an amazing job with the coloring and you've also provided some interesting texture with the snow as well!! What a wonderful story! TFS!!

Another creation I missed. Love that bug! I have quite the memories of us getting stuck in the snow in a bug when I was 5! It was getting dark and we were out in the middle of nowhere. Sadly my dad didn't have his tongue tamed and I thought we were going to die out there in the snow! My sister crying and I was being brave. Funny, with all that angst it's still a favorite memory and I LOVE seeing winter bugs on cards!!! Love the way you staged this with the pretty papers!
