For Judy's TLC today - Birthday Bash. We were to look at last year's challenges and choose the one nearest the birthday of someone in our household and use that.
OK, so in the early hours of the morning I did this and picked out TLC585 All Around Borders, which was 5/9/16.
Fast forward to when I was actually up and out of bed and able to think in terms of American date formats and I realise that of course that is a date in May and DH's birthday is in July, so I check out the closest one to that which is 07/05/ in American format, and that turns out to be TLC593, Reverse Masking - so I've combined them both.
Masked off the central oval, then used Old Paper swiped DTP and then stamped Linen in Vintage Photo.
Removed the mask and added my reverse mask, stamped in the poppy stamp and coloured it with pencils. Sponged lightly, then stamped in the little stamps from Pocket Silhouettes.
Removed the reverse mask and used 3 stamps from the Rubber Stamp Tapestry tiny pineapple and fruit wreath (thank you Francie) to stamp borders all round the oval and the edges.
Added a sentiment.
Really I had wanted to think of an image I could use the little pineapple stamp with, but my mojo is still on holidays. I came upstairs and thought "help, where do I even start!!"

I don't see any mojo on holiday here. Once again your framing is exquiste. I love the worn bg paper for the bg and the beautiful poppies. Great job! And I doubt anyone would question you choice of prior challenge using the American date format or yours.
This is absolutely wonderful! I love the poppies and how you colored them, but the RST stamps for the borders really puts this card over the top! Gave a fav for sure!
