This is my sample for CC613. Pam is our hostess and she chose crushed curry, garden green and real red. Dessert is Christmas Glow (candles, street lamps, moon or sun).
For my card, I used the "glowing candles" die from Memory Box. I cut it in red, garden green and gold and then did the inlay technique. I layered the candles over some pine branches and those I cut with an Impression Obsession die.
To create a warm glow on my card, I used some crushed curry dsp from the Stampin'-Up "watercolor wonder" collection. Scattered some red sequins because the top of the card looked a little bare to me.
Stamped my Merry Christmas sentiment to complete my image panel. This panel was cut with a MFT die. I thought the stitched edge added interest. Layered this panel over a red card base to finish off my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. We have some great Christmas colors if you need to make one last card or two. I did and now I am officially finished.

Love a candle card, Mary, and yours is lovely!! That's such a beautiful die cut and I love the added greenery (and "gold-ery"!)! The glow is the perfect finishing touch!

This has got my card making juices flowing!! Wow! I love that die in gold with the red inserted - it is beautifully done! I also love the sequins you added for a bit of sparkle - and the greenery ... An awesome card!
