This is my 3rd card for SC622. Cathy is our hostess and she gave us a great sketch to work with.
I am on a roll with using these recycled card projects that I started in the summer and just found 6 of them in my stash.
On this card I recycled a Christmas card that I received last year. I used a template from Just For Fun Stamps to cut the image in 4 pieces and some postage stamp scissors for a fancy edge.
My friend has this faux postage stamp also from JFF Stamps that stamps a background template for your images once they are cut.
We were together in the summer and everyone brought some Christmas cards to try this technique out. I didn't do anything with the images until today.
So I layered the image with a blue cardstock from Bazzill. I used some designer paper that I found in my stash from ProvoCraft. I thought it matched nicely with the image.
Used a die to cut the paper ribbon and bow in real red cardstock and added some snowflakes cut in a silver glitter paper. The sentiment is a die from CottageCutz. I cut it 2x once in real red and then in whisper white and did the inlay technique so the letters would stand out against the blue background. Another card for this challenge.

I love the way you used the template! Great job recycling your cards. I had been hoping to use some to make into tags but I haven't gotten around to it. TFS!

Another awesome card, Mary, using the same technique with the postage stamp die and another Christmas card! The penguins with their igloo are gorgeous as is that beautiful red bow! Great art, my friend!!
