Hi all,
I got home from teach a class about 2:30 and started in on finding a stamp and watercoloring (which you know I don't do too much so be forgiving) I saw this picture this morning and thought about it off and on during class. I just knew I had a stamp that would be good for this painting.
Sure enough. I used London Fog Memento to stamp and a water brush with Peerless to paint. I got some color on that i did not want because it was on my finger tip but I was finished painting and placing a die...thus a bit of odd color in the sky area. Splattered with white paint.
Ah well, if I would practice more I would get better!!
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful card, Robin! Despite your concern, you did a wonderful job of coloring the image! The plaid paper is gorgeous and goes so well with the berries in the image! Another Robin special!

Robin, why are you being so hard on yourself? Your water colored birdie and bg are just Wonderful! Your frosted berries look delicious...I can understand why birdie is attracted to them~

This is lovely, Robin. The bird looks so real, and I keep looking for the odd color in the sky that you mentioned and decided that you must be imagining things. This is perfect.

Sorry for laughing, Robin! But if that tiny dot (that I REALLY had to look for is your smudge, then you haven't seen mine!) And you painted this? It's GORGEOUS! You even managed to preserve the feathery look of his wing, something I could never do with watercolor! I tip my hat to you!

I love your card and you did an amazing job coloring. I am cracking up that we both used the same stamp for our cards today. We think so much alike. Your papers, layout and ribbon are fantastic too. Beautifully done!!!
