Joyce gave us the challenge to use a stamp in a unique way and I admit that I was very challenged! Then this morning I had a Eureka moment and thought of a Christmas set I had pulled out in looking at another challenge. I bought this after Christmas last year on clearance and it hadn't seen ink yet. I thought the leaves would work well for the vintage watercoloring technique. I went with a larger card due to the size of the images. I stamped the Mistletoe in Vintage Photo and took a brown Elegant Writer pen and added a little ink inside the leaves. I used my black Elegant Writer to add around the edges going heaviest at the ends of the leaves so I could pull color to the background. For the background I wet areas near the leaves tgen activated the ink and pulled it out toward the water. I also stood the piece up while still wet to drip the colors downward. I had a bit of trouble finding a good Scripture to add that was large enough in scale but I think this one works. I used my Stampamajig to find the right place to stamp and went with Sepia to match the tones.

Oh, Gail! This is gorgeous, and what a precious Scripture verse! I love the amazing background you've created with this mistletoe, and thanks for sharing your techniques. It's stunning and a real eye-catcher! Hugs!
