I'm so pleased to see Bev (guneauxdesigns) as our Featured Stamper today! Bev, has a beautiful gallery and is always so supportive of the wok of others (BTW, her comments are so well phrased), and I luv her enthusiasm.
I chose this beautiful bluejay/mountain scene as my inspiration.
I stenciled the tree using black soot and tea die distress, then doodled light black lines for bark. Stamped, colored, and die cut the bluejay. Chalked a light grey below the branch and blue sky above. Die cut a frame using Spellbinders pierced rectangles. Assembled the pieces onto a white base.
Congratulations, Bev! You are so deserving of this honor.

Besides your beautiful blue jay your background caught my eye immediately! I would never have guessed a stencil since it is so clear and detailed. All your work is so brilliantly designed and framed!
