Trial and error. I used Tombow glue the first time and it stayed sticky. Had my husband get the wood glue out of garage. It worked. For my
my sparkly part, I found a green pearlescent watercolor disc in bottom of bag I brought to cabin. Next, I stamped my leaves in black and embossed in copper. Kind of a HOT mess but I like it. For the wood grain bg, I dragged the inks down the card stock.

Ha, I spent a quarter of an hour trying to find my wood glue, but DH had "tidied" the press in the shed, and moved all my things round. It certainly gives a great effect, and the colours you got with the copper embossing look beautiful, almost iridescent.
