As I have mentioned before, the only funny stamps I have are the AI gals. I had seen a cartoon though that was like the card I created. I copied the gal from the cartoon ( I did draw it and it is slightly different that the original) Then I used a Sharpie Fine marker to write in the sentiment and a white sharpie to fill in the larger lettering. I used my aqua painter and inks to water color the old gal and added part of a dry embossed flower to the bottom. Very simple but the drawing, outlining and painting did take up some time. I used the hangar from Event Full that says "Hang in There" on the inside of the card!

Pat you win the prize for most creative and artfully crafted! I am so impressed with your drawing and lettering skills! When I first saw her it kind of reminded me of a Simpson's character. This is so funny...and by the way,,who wants to do extra laundry..no one!!

Ha, ha! So true. Don't want more laundry! I'm awed at your drawing and lettering skills. I like how you used the white with the larger letters. Wondering coloring with the orange and pink. Great job!! Love it!! TFS

Oh my gosh, this card is fantastic! I am totally amazed you drew this fabulous gal in her robe no less, and did all the lettering for this wonderful sentiment too. There definitely are days like this and you captured that feeling in the best possible way. Love it! ~Karen.
