This week's CAS challenge is wide open to interpretation. I decided to go with a fun watercolored floral card to send to a sweet friend. I die cut the floral frame first (and much to my surprise, this one was EASY to cut compared to last week's winter floral die!) from plain white cardstock. I then pulled out my Gansai Tambi watercolors and just enjoyed myself. No pressure, no need to be perfect, just having fun!
I wanted to see what would happen if I sprayed water over the whole thing after I was done coloring. I'm always experimenting to find new ways of doing things. LOL! Nothing major happened - whew. But you can see where some of the colors started bleeding into other areas here and there - love that!!! It's so natural and handmade, ya know? :-)
I cut the "hugs" sentiment from white cardstock and watercolored it with the same purple that I used on some of the flowers. The floral frame and the sentiment were glued down onto a white card base.
Have fun playing with our CAS challenge this week!
