Did a variation of the technique: I inked the background with chipped sapphire distress stain (2 layers), dried, then spritzed it with water and perfect-pearl-water, dabbed away the wicking color to create the "starry background". For the sphere I used water to remove the color first (easy with distress!). Overdoing it a bit did not hurt but added to the structure of the planet. Then rubbed in white pigment ink and used metallic rub ink to add the grey touch. I wanted to enter this one for the SSS challenge (blue, spritz and sequins) but could not bring myself to add sequins to it! So I made another one. ;-)
The sentiment is embossed in silver.

I like this one even better than the last one. This is awesome. I love the beautiful spritzed bg and the wonderful spheres. I wan't going to do this tutorial, but now I have changed my mind.
