Despite my current major time crunch I ended up with two cards for Carla's debut challenge on the WTUI team! Check it out here: WT587 Trash to Treasure.
This one starts with an embossed pearlescent base.
I used a Spellbinders circle die to round off the edges of the panel taken from a box of tea, and added gold cord and two beads.
A while back I was clearing one of my boxes and decided it was high time to turn all the old scrap offcuts of rubber into a large background stamp for the Stained Mosaic tutorial. And this week was the time to actually get round to using it. I stamped the flowers and coloured them with pencils, then followed the tutorial. The flower name was stamped separately, punched and popped up on foam after edging it with a gold pen.
So, my trash was all the rubber trimmings and the tea package.

Sabrina, this is definitely Trash to Treasure! You have amazing things in your stash. Between the mosaic stamp and the teabox, you have a beautiful bg. The bg, cord and buttons make the perfect frame for those pretty chrysanthemums. Thank you for playing in my challenge.

Spectacular Sabrina! You must be the 'recycle Queen!'. Your mosaic background stamp is wonderful and I love the tea box. You certainly have more beautiful tea than we do here!

That was a very pretty tea box, much too pretty to go into the recycling bin! The gold cord and red dots add a perfect "pop".
Your stamp made from the bits of rubber looks fabulous - I always think I'm going to do that, but have yet to do so - thanks for the inspiration : )

This is so pretty, Sabrina. It has a wonderful Asain feel. Your tea box makes a lovely bg and looks great with color choices. I love all the different patterns.
