Another card for my "2016 Send a Smile" challenge. I made this 4.25" version as well as a smaller 3.75" version.
Laid 5 of the pierced circles on my Bazzill Diamond Bling panel and cut out. Cut 3 more of the large circle. Colored the rings and inside circle using Copic markers:
R24, YR68, Y13, YG06, B24
(Hint: Remember to color both the inside and outside edges of the cardstock as well - otherwise the white edges WILL show.)
Assembled my rainbow circle, using Glossy Accents to adhere to one of the extra circles. Layered to the remaining die cut circles. Cut to make 2 semi-circles. (For my size panels, my rainbows are actually smaller than half of the circle). Adhered to 3.25" panel.
Stamped my sentiment and then layered the panel to a black mat. Layered that to a 4.25" piece of the Bazzill diamond bling cardstock, then to card base.
Inside sentiment:
You are some kind of
WONDERFUL
(The word WONDERFUL was in a hollow font, so I colored in the letters to echo my rainbow:
W, L - R24
O, U - YR68
N, F - Y13
D, R - YG06
E - B24)
This wasn't the card I expected to make when I started playing with making a rainbow, but I am happy with the card that I ended up with.
