Hello! I felt like I could actually do something besides go back to bed today so I headed to the stamp room to play along with Karen's TLC575 "Painting our Stamps" challenge!
I ended up combining techniques on this one because my first try with the Brushos alone didn't look right as I don't have enough colors to add depth. I painted this beautiful Red Rubber Designs, Rosebud image with TH Distress markers and spritzed with water then added more layers of color with the Brushos. The MISTI was invaluable since I stamped numerous times with different colors.
For the framing, I masked a border, then sponged Salty Ocean and with a barely wet paintbrush moved the ink around.

Beautiful painted stamp image! I tried the brushos, too, but it was a disaster Karen made it sound so easy. So happy you felt better enough to spend some time stamping today, Angie! Hope you are on your way to wellness.
