This pie kind of took over my card - it was an adventure (if I made a real pie it would be an adventure too - lol). I colored it and it looked so plain so I sponged on some walnut distress ink which was too dark so I tried to lighten it up and it got blotchy. So then I covered it with some Stickles and it got the best texture and looked so real - still looks burnt but it looks real!

Oh my gosh, the crust on that pie does look real. What a great card and just look at those pretty, green eyes. Plus, that red dress...she could be headed to the Bama game tonight in that color. I am heading that way this afternoon....Roll Tide!

LOVE this and love the description of how you did the pie! Nancy, your coloring is beautiful on this lady! Her pie, well dark happens sometimes. Pie doesn't go to waste. Love the sparkle you added, making it look like a sugar crust. Now I'm hungry for pie!

Yep, that pie really looks authentic - like Nancy, said, a sugary crust - I can almost smell it from here!! Love the dangling things down the side and that DP in the BG really brings out the holiday spirit of your wonderfully colored cook holding the pie!! She sure looks like the best dressed lady in the house for the holiday!! HUGZ!
