The Sketch Challenge today is an easy one. I did tweak it a bit by flipping it upside down & using the long rock fence in place of a separate horizontal band. So while the sketch is easy, my card was a bit more difficult due to all the masking I had to do. This is also for KathleenÂ’s HYCCT1512, Make it Tasty. Plenty of tasty pumpkins on my card!
This fall scene is all on one layer but the rock fence, the scarecrow, the pumpkins & the crow on the branch are all separate images. The scarecrow & pumpkins were stamped first, masked, then the wall was stamped. I had to do the wall twice because the wall image has a gate but I wanted to leave that part out. Then the crow was stamped. I used a reverse circle mask & sponged in the sun & colored everything else with Copics. Two little fussy cut leaves were added along w/ the greeting. This also qualifies for the DRS Thursday Challenge to have something tasty on your card (link is on my blog).
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, the inside & the colors of Copics are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Wow, Julie! I Adore the way you colored your wall, and your pumpkins too, oh and let me add the sun to that list! Aw...let's just say I Adore Everything you colored here...super cute tiny bit of leaves left hanging around!

I just uploaded my card and I can't believe it! We must be kindred spirits as well because we had some of the same thoughts in our brains this morning!!
Yours is much brighter and cuter though, I have to admit! Of course I DO love bright colors! I was trying for yesterday's colors and today's sketch...so funny...this is not the first time we have thought alike either!
Love your card and love that wall! Beautifully colored as always!

Oh how I envy people who can color like this!!! Your stone wall is awesome and of course who doesn't love that scarecrow??? This is magnificently done!

Super cute..those fall colors are so bright and give your scarecrow such a playful look. How clever of you to use the stone fence as the horizontal piece ;) Great card!
