To make the red layer, I cut out the square first, embossed the leaves, and then left the paper in the open folder while I stamped the wood grain bkgd on top.
The main panel was made by pressing sapphire, honey, rusty hinge, and barn red distress pads on different parts of an acrylic block, misting with water, and then stamping on water color paper. I blotted the big blobs of liquid off with a towel. Once it was dry, I stamped on top with archival black and then added just a little color with prisma pencils.
