Peggy is our hostess this week, and she has given us the luscious color challenge of Blackberry Bliss, Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party. Dessert option is stars, but I am skipping dessert this week! The closest I could come is sequins. ;-)
This card is for my sweet hubby for our 52nd wedding anniversary, which is today. The word, “Always,” has taken on special significance for us because of our favorite TV show, “Castle.” The two main characters use it frequently to express their devotion to each other.
I cut the 4-layer flower out of Wisteria Wonder cardstock with my Silhouette Portrait, then sponged the petals with Blackberry Bliss ink, and molded them a bit with a stylus. I forgot that the tips of the petals wouldnÂ’t show up in the photo against the Blackberry Bliss background, but it looks fine IRL. I need to practice more with that Viva Pearl Pen. The pearls are supposed to come out perfectly domed, but mine look like HersheyÂ’s kisses! Oh well, kisses for my sweetie! ;-)
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week.

I said "Oh wow!" when I saw your card, then I said it again when I read what you'd written. Congratulations on your anniversary! So wonderful Barbara!!
I really love how the flourish frames the card and of course your gorgeous flower. A really lovely card!

Happy anniversary, Barbara! Love that this sentiment has a special meaning for you and DH. I had to chuckle when you said your liquid pearls looked like kisses...I have the same problem!
