This card is for the, CC528, Blushing Bride sitting under a soft sky eating crumb cake, challenge. I got as close as I could to the challenge colors, of blushing bride, soft sky, crumb cake. The dessert is to make it crabby ( beachy ) , shabby chic, or fabby. I'm not so sure, that I got the dessert. I started, with pink cs, next, came the tan cs, I had put through my Darice - basket weave ef. Now the pale blue print dp, then a small panel of plaid dp, across the bottom of the card. I used my Martha Stewart - lace punch on white cs, for the table cloth. I cut the basket on the cricut, using my doodle charms cartridge, and I put it through the cuttlebug in my basket weave ef. I added a little brown shading, with a watercolor pencil. Now, I punched a lot of butterflies, with my Martha Stewart butterfly punch. I tried to add them to the basket, as if they were, either flying out, or gathering in, I'm not so sure that I accomplished that. I added, white stickles to the butterflies, and a sheer pale blue bow, to complete my card. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.

I think this defitely falls under fabby! So creative--i love all the butterflies swarming around your basket! I've actually seen beautiful swarms of butterflies before. Love all the sparkle. That must have been a lot of work! Great bow too!

What a picture you've painted today! Marg, I can't imagine how long it must have taken you to make all those pretty flowers. The lace is fantastic under the basket. You had it goin' on today, girl. Keep it up. You're on a roll now.

What a delightful card! I love your idea of a basketful of butterflies...it's so sweet. Great idea to make that eyelet tablecloth using a punch. Another vote for "fabby"

I love your basket of butterflies! That EF is great for the basket. The doily under the basket and the plaid table cloth really make a wonderful background for your basket.
