Started with red card base, adding su dp paper--said she might get hungry on her trip so gave her lots of corn to nibble on. Drew a heart, cut out with fancy scissors, turned upside down took heart dies cut out 2 sizes, added to card, made beak from orange card stock and added eyes. Sponged her here and there, did sentiment on puter, cut out popped on green, used pop dots to put all on card.

How very clever and creative your chicken is - I've never thought about how great a shape a heart would be. And the little beady black pearl eyes are wonderful! What a super card for the TPT challenge this week.

What a plump and adorable little 'schicken' for the teaparty for Carol - she looks mighty down home comfy sitting there with all the corn to nibble on - brings back lots of memories, and I bet Carol loves this sweet country card!
