I wanted to do a masculine birthday card but did not want the same old fold. I don't know what this style of card is called. I'm calling it the flap fold. It is made from a 12 x 4-1/4 piece of CS. I just scored the flap at 2-1/4 and the bottom is scored at 4-3/8 so the center of the card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.
I cut a 4 x 4 panel for the front and a piece for the flap that was slightly smaller than the card flap.
I stamped the front with the main image and stamped the flap with the air mail stamp and the birthday sentiment!
The closure is 1/2 inch circles with a brad through them and the twine has been unraveled so I only had half the thickness. It is wound around the circles to close the card.

I love this! That fold is wonderful.
I am also working hard on sending birthday cards on time this year. So far, so good. Of course, it's only January! LOL

Great fold! Thanks for giving measurements so I don't have to figure it out! I love the collage stamp you used here - wonderful image!

Awesome! I think fancy folds are extra special on masculine cards! This is wonderful!
