My friend, Wendy, (wereids) gave me this set over the weekend. I thought it would be fun to something different with the lcown and fit it into our color challenge. The fun stopped right there as it has been a disaster in the making. I had almost totally and pains takingly finished coloring the clown when I dropped my paintbrush filled with brown paint across the face and the midriff and off onto the outside of the image. Argh!!!!!! I knew that I would have to cut him out.....and try to color another face and put over his ruined one. When I got it finished and put in place, my husband said he looked like a monkey so I painted another one and put it in place. Actually, this is not really a great face....as there is too much detail in a very little space. Anyway, here it is. I had worked so darn hard on it I was bound and determined to try an make something out of it. I would say he's a little out of my comfort zone.

Had the same experience recently. My card was doomed from the start. Got tired of trying to salvage it. However, I think you did an awsome job with yours. Love how you made him dimentional. And the colors are great!

I love your clown. The colors are awesome. I was trying to think of what it reminded me of and then started to read the comments and "vintage" is the right word. The colors remind me of the renaissanse festival. It's so different and a simply delightful card.

This card is beautiful! I think it's fabulous that you chose this stamp set as it is not an obvious choice for these colors. You should be so proud of this card because it turned out great!!! It was worth all the hard work!
