Overall concept is to show hope for Global Peace and saving our environment.
First I cut a background from the bronze metallic using my Debutante Frame (This is such a simple elegant background.) Next I cut out the You mean the world to me using the blue foil. The globe is blue where water is and the bronze fills in the earth. The green foil Forest Border at the bottom represents some of our natural resources and balances well with the shiny blue and bronze. Some lighter brownish ribbon was laying around so I made a bow ,centering the bow in the middle at the bottom. The card needed more so I put the pearls in sets of 3 on either side of the bow. To Name my New year Wish I used my old Peace on Earth stamp on a pearlized light beige piece of CS. This helped lighten the card as most of the colors while shiny are darker tones. Last I placed the doves on the right side to balance the entire card. Also, Peace and doves just go together!
