This is for Loll's 12 tags of Christmas and what fun it was. I started by rolling white paint mixed with reinkers on the gelli plate, pressed the stencil in the paint and stamped the stencil on the cardstock. The leftover paint on the gelli was used to make another print. I rolled white paint with a few drops of vintage photo and peacock feathers distress ink again and once again pressed the same stencil in it but this time lifted the stencil and printed the first one again onto the plate. Once again added more paint to the gelli, pressed in the stencil with the little squares on it (don't know the name) and printed a third time right over the stencil. I still wasn't happy with all the white peaking through so I airbrushed it with similar colors. I glued heavy duty aluminum foil to cardstock and cut the berry branch and numerals out of the foil. I used Versamark and silver embossing powder for the sentiment which is barely visible. After adhering all the pieces to the cardstock I used blue marbled nail heads to the berries on the branch. Sorry they look black in the photo. I lost daylight before I took the photo and it was a toss between capturing the blue or capturing the silver. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Nancy, when I see a creation as lovely as this tag...it amazes me that it started out as a blank sheet of paper. All your elements are subtle, and blend perfectly. Love the pop of the nail heads. tfs

This has such an ethereal beauty there are hardly words to describe! Like Jody, exactly how you created this AMAZING tag is beyond me but that's OK I am just glad you did! I love each and every thing you did to craft this incredible tag. It is almost like looking through a magical looking glass into layers and layers of mixed media wonderfulness. SUCH a creative piece of art Nancy, you hit one out of the park!

GORGEOUS! I so don't get the gelli thing - watched a few videos, but feel sure I would get nothing but a muddy mess. You create the most beautiful backgrounds with this technique. This one may be the most stunning yet! I love your foil die cut pieces. I've never tried gluing the foil to CS - one more thing on my list to try.
