Gail (mamaxsix) asked us to make a card showing a connection or a way of keeping connected. Communication sure has changed over the years. I still remember running to the mailbox when I was a little girl, hoping for a letter (typed) from my granddaddy. So this is a little nod to him.

oh wow, I have not seen this embossing folder before and I am in instant lust for one... I love that you mixed the colors on it too. this is way cool theme Kathleen.

How sweet that your grandfather sent you letters! I think that would have been a real treat. Love the embossed type bg with the sponging you added and the horizontal strip connecting the elements of your card which is a great representation of keeping connected. So glad you were able to play along!

Love your card and LOVE that embossing folder! How effectively you used it with your image! I sure do remember getting a REAL letter in the mail. Those were the days!
