I took a few "liberties" with the MIX challenge today. You see, I recently cleaned up my stacks of magazines so I really didn't have any good ones to find an image for a mask. What to do?.......how about drawing one? hmmmmm
For the F4A challenge we were to put a "pumpkin" on our card. Ding Ding Ding! I know, I'll draw Curt howling at a pumpkin! So off I went, pen and paper in hand and this is what I created.
This scene took three masks. I made some spray inks by putting the acrylic artist inks in a spray bottle and added some water. Sprayed the pumpkin yellow, and the sky blue. Left Curt white.
Needed more color so I replaced the masks, sponged on orange and blue from ink pads then doodled Curt. He kind of looks like a mummy cow. hehe
I needed to ground him, so I drew, doodled and sponged the fence. Traced around things with the stabilo pencil then blended it. Done.
Well, hope the challenge police don't come after me. Have a great weekend all! TFL :0)

I would recognize Curt anywhere.....though he was well disguised on this one......always enjoy your art and sense of humor.....I have been participating in the Tea Party in the shadows lately, trying to use of some of the cards I have on hand, but I still enjoy Curt's travails......tfs
