Holly, I love getting to use up those wonderful scraps that I hoard. I keep all my design paper scraps in bags by predominate colors. So, of course, I have a pink bag. I found some fabulous strips to use and even used some of those scraps for my flowers and leaves. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be creative from the scrap bags. Those are always my favorites. I sandwiched the strips between two layers one being the negative piece from the heart diecut. I love October, I love the HTYCC challenges, and I love using pink.

I never even thought of putting paper strips behind a die cut "frame." What a great idea!!!!!! Your card is beautiful and that sentiment is just perfect! Thank you so much for playing in my challenge today!
You did a wonderful job with your scrap pieces, Liz. I simply love your card.

Yes they are!! Sleep does wonders! I love your technique...it reminds me of Iris folding the way you have your strips inside the heart cutout! Lovely and LOVE the colors!!
